Why Animas statement

I chose Animas because it was a much better option for me than the other schools around Durango and Ignacio. I was drawn to animas because Animas is a very small school and I grew up in small schools with very few kids in each classroom. I felt that going into a big school after all my education being in a small one would be too overwhelming and I couldn't get the help I needed when I needed it. Also in Animas they have a much larger range of art and history classes that I could take because those are the topics that I am most interested in. I was also interested in Animas because they will be moving the school into the college campus in a bigger building, and I'm sure we will have a lot more freedom and different mediums we can use in art class once we move up to the bigger campus. Another thing that I am looking forward to in highschool is learning skills that will help me with my future career or college. I hope to learn more things about art and how to work with multiple mediums at once, which I think will help me when I enter a job in the art field. Animas was just all around the better option for me when I was looking for schools that would help me in my future.
